Oases Wonders Excursions
Day 1
Depart at 9:00am via 4x4 Land Cruiser. Go to the Three Oases of the Mountains: Chebika, Tamerza and Mides. Enjoy a poolside lunch at the Tamerza Palace Hotel. Visit Tamerza's Oasis, with its gorgeous waterfalls and canyons (which once held a powerful river). Continue to Chebika, where you'll find another magical oasis tucked away in the mountains. Arrive in Tozeur and board a Caleche, which will bring you on a tour of Tozeur and its enchanting palm forest. Diner at Hotel, Restaurant, or Tented in the Palm Forest. Hotel Accomodation in Tozeur.
Day 2
Depart at 9:00pm via 4x4 Land Cruiser. Arrive in Nefta where you will tour the Oasis Town and view the "Corbeille." Enjoy lunch at Hotel. Afterwayds, continue to Ong Jemel --a rock formation that resembles a sitting Camel. Next, continue around the Chott El Gharsa to the site where Star Wars and The English Patient were filmed. Last, watch the sun set over the dunes.
Arrive in Tozeur at 7:00pm. Hotel Accomodation in Tozeur.
Day 3
Depart at 9:15am (8:45am on Tues/Thurs) via 4x4 Land Cruiser. Arrive at Metlaoui's Train station and board the Old Bey's Train. The train will enter Selja's Gorges, giving you fantastic views of the desert mountains. Train arrives at 12:15pm (12:45pm on Tues/Thurs), and continue to Tamerza. Enjoy a poolside lunch at the Tamerza Palace Hotel. Visit Tamerza's Oasis, with its gorgeous waterfalls and canyons (which once held a powerful river). Continue to Chebika, where you'll find another magical oasis tucked away in the mountains.
Return to Tozeur at 5:30pm.
Excursion Cost is dependant on number of travelers per 4x4 Land Cruiser, Hotel preference, lunch and dinner preference, and if you'd like to be escorted back to Sousse/Hammamet region.
