Although not obligatory in Tunisia, tipping is a highly recommended gest and shows great appreciation for services done for you.

We recommend tipping under these guidelines:

• Porterage of luggages: 1-2 dinars
• Hotel maid: 1 dinar per day
• Restaurant Server: 8-10% of bill
• Cafe Server: 3-5% of bill (minimum of 0,300 dinars)
• Driver: min of 5 dinars per day
• Guide: min of 2-3 dinars per day
• Taxi driver: round up to nearest dinar or half-dinar.
