Tunisia has 2 seasons: winter, stretching from October to March and summer, stretching from April to September.

Winter weather can reach up to 70 degrees (21 Celsius)and go down to as low as 32 degrees (0 Celsius).

Summer weather in the south can get up to 115 degrees (46 Celsius) and as low as 75 degrees (24 Celsius). Normal day-time weather in Tunis is 85-95 in the summer, and in Tozeur is 90-105.

March and April are "windy" months in the South and Sahara, so if you are planning on being in the desert, protect yourself with a shesh (scarf wrapped around your head).

Beach season begins mid-May until mid-September.
