Banks

Banks and ATMs are readily available in most cities published on tourist maps. Some hotels may even have ATMs for their clients' convenience. Normal hours of operation are 8:00-14:00 and 15:00-18:00.

Tunisian Banks include:

• ATB: Arab Tunisian Bank
• Attjiari Bank
• UBCI
• UIB
• Banque de Tunisie

American Express and Discover cards are not widely accepted, so make sure to bring your Visa and Master Cards.

Tourism Offices

In each major city (Tunis, Sousse, Nabeul, Hammamet, Tozeur, etc) you will find an ONTT (National Tunisia Tourism Office) branch office. These offices are open during regular working hours, as well as Saturdays and Sundays. They can help you with any information you need, excluding tour and excursion information.
